It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy carefully, especially before providing any personal information at our physical locations ("Locations") or through this website at "Site").

Information We Collect

Information is collected about you :

  4. When you voluntarily contact us about any questions, complaint, inquiries or requests

The information we collect will generally include your name and address, telephone number and email address, payment information. When you participate in events, we may, with your consent, collect and maintain information about your player profile and your past performances including scores. Certain events will require ,in order to maximize your customer experience, that you agree to being photographed or filmed or that we use a recording of your voice and you will know in advance.

How Information We Collect is Used

We use the personal information we collect to :

  1. Deliver the products and services you purchase, for invoicing and to process payment
  2. Manage your participation in events you sign up for or have qualified for at our Locations, including to display a member's first and last name on Leaderboards at a MSOP facility as well as on any digital platform such as the Site or mobile app.
  3. Manage our relationship with you
  4. Contact you and respond to your questions or inquiries
  5. Maintain your player profile
  6. With your consent, to send you electronic communications about our offers, events, contests, promotions, new products and services and that of our partners or sponsors ; you may ask at any time that we stop sending you these communications by using the exclusion mechanism provided in each electronic communication.
  7. To analyze our customers' behaviors and trends, using anonymized data
  8. To conduct research and analysis and to otherwise measure the effectiveness of our online and offline marketing efforts and to develop products, services, and marketing programs.
  9. To coordinate program activities and communications with other marketing programs conducted by us.

We do not sell or rent to third parties any of the personal information that you provide to us through this Site or at our Locations, or authorize any of our suppliers to sell or rent any such personal information, and we do not authorize any of our suppliers to make independent use of your personal information for their own purposes, including but not limited to direct marketing. However, aggregated information about customers utilizing this Site, in surveys or otherwise providing information to MSOP may be utilized by MSOP and/or suppliers in connection with research, benchmarking and other like uses.

Site Usage Information

Like most web sites, this Site gathers traffic patterns, site usage information and other aggregated data in order to evaluate our visitors' preferences and the effectiveness of this Site. This aggregate usage data does not identify you individually. We may share anonymous, aggregated statistics about visitors to this Site with third-parties, and we may allow third-parties to collect aggregate data through this Site and/or supplier sites accessible from or though this Site.

This Site may use cookies to enhance the browsing and usage experience on our Site. "Cookies" are small files or records that are placed on your computer's hard drive (by us or a third party provider of ours) to collect information about your activities on our Site. On occasion, MSOP may conduct or sponsor contests/sweepstakes with the opportunity to win prizes. Each contest/sweepstakes has its own terms and conditions ("Official Contest/Sweepstakes Rules"). As part of entering a contest or sweepstakes on-line through this Site or through a third party provider site, certain personally identifiable information (including but not limited to name, address, phone number, etc.) may be required. This information will be used as described in the applicable Official Contest/Sweepstakes Rules.

Third party service providers

From time to time we engage unaffiliated third parties and their affiliates, agents and subcontractors ("Service Providers") to perform certain technological or administrative services. We also may use a Service Provider to host and administer one or more of our Sites, process and store data, and fulfill similar technology-related functions on our behalf. In these circumstances, the personal information that the Service Provider receives is limited to only the personal information held by us that they need in order to render their service to us. The companies that are provided with the personal information are first required to sign an agreement that obligates them to keep the information confidential and secure and prohibits them from using it for unauthorized purposes.

We have engaged Service Providers to provide us with cloud computing services. Cloud computing is the provision of network-based services, located on remote computers, that allow individuals and businesses to use software and hardware operated by third parties. Examples of these services include online file storage, webmail and online business applications. Service Providers have policies and processes in place to ensure that the confidentiality of information in their care is properly safeguarded at all times. As of the date of this policy, our cloud computing Service Provider processes and stores information in the United States. This may change from time to time; for a current list of storage locations, please contact our Privacy officer.

You acknowledge that if Service Providers provide services from other countries, your personal information may be processed and stored in these countries and the governments, courts or law enforcement or regulatory agencies of these jurisdictions may be able to obtain disclosure of your personal information through a lawful order.

Service Providers can only use the personal information that we share with them to provide the Services or, if you have consented, to notify you of their offerings and to evaluate new and existing products, offerings or services. We are not responsible for any additional information you provide directly to these Service Providers, and we encourage you to become familiar with their privacy and security practices and policies before disclosing information to them. There may be instances when we provide information relating to our customers to various suppliers, so they can conduct market studies and other promotional activities.

The law requires that we and our third party service providers may be required to share your personal information and non-personal information pursuant to judicial or governmental subpoenas, warrants or other like orders. If we are required to do so, we will, of course, obey the law. In addition, notwithstanding any term to the contrary in this Privacy Policy, we and our suppliers reserve the right to use and disclose your personal and non-personal information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, and/or violations of this Site's Terms and Conditions statement as required by law.

Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen (13) years. This Site is directed to persons who are at least twenty-one (21) years of age. If a parent or guardian is made aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided us with personally identifiable information through any point of contact, we ask to be contacted at the below address or email address, to the attention of our privacy officer, and we will delete the information about the child referenced from our files.

Security of Your Personal Information

MSOP takes, and requires that its suppliers take, appropriate steps to keep your personal information confidential. Although we cannot guarantee that there will never be a security problem, we have in place appropriate security measures to carefully guard against the theft, loss or misuse of the information collected on this Site and at our Locations.

Transfer of Assets or Business

In the event of a business transaction involving us, including a transfer or sale of some or all of our business or assets, MSOP may, in accordance with applicable law and confidentially, disclose your personal information to those involved in such a business transaction, without first obtaining your consent. Governing Law

MSOP controls and operates this Site in Canada. Our online privacy practices are governed by the laws of Canada which may differ from privacy laws in your state or home country. By submitting your personal information to this Site, you consent to the transfer of your personal information to and within Canada and to any other country, including the United States of America and its use and disclosure in accordance with Canadian law and with this Privacy Policy.


This English-language Privacy Policy is MSOP's official statement of its online privacy practices. Except in the Province of Qu├ębec, in case of any inconsistency between this English-language Privacy Policy and its translation into another language, this English-language document controls.

Access, rectification and complaints

The personal information we collect is hosted in the United States via a cloud service provider (Google Data Store). Physical files are held at our office located at 2200 Stanley, 3rd floor, Montreal, QC H3A1R6, Canada, as well as our Locations in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA when you participate in events held at our Las Vegas Locations. Your personal information may be accessed by our employees, service providers and agents on a need to know basis.

MSOP does not keep personal information that is no longer necessary to achieve the purposes disclosed in this policy. In such a case, we proceed to de-identify the information so that we only keep information on a no-name basis.
